GENERAL INFORMATION
SALES
Courtroom Connect was founded in July 2001 to address the growing need for communications infrastructure within courthouses. The company began by providing the first wireless, public Internet in a courthouse to the San Francisco Civil Court Facility in January, 2002. After expanding the reach of their network to include over 25 permanent connections in many states across the U.S., Courtroom Connect began offering additional communications services to the entire legal industry. At present, the company maintains permanent Internet connections in over 40 courthouses and can set up temporary Internet service anywhere it is requested. In addition, Courtroom Connect's product offering has expanded to include valuable services for other members of the legal industry: attorneys, court reporters, bar associations, law schools and litigation support vendors.
Courthouse Connect
Courtroom Connect's flagship product for courts is a multi-purpose Wi-Fi communications platform covering an entire courthouse, provided at no cost to the court. Courthouse Connect is a secure Wi-Fi wireless data network providing Internet access to approved members of the public and select Court employees, and serving as a platform for Internet applications in the courtroom. Courtroom Connect is responsible for all network installations, network maintenance, ongoing customer support, marketing, billing, and every other aspect of the service. Courtroom Connect charges the users of Courthouse Connect, who pay to access Internet, printing, realtime transcript streaming, and other services provided over the wireless network.
